Tasha's Sorcerous Imbuement - V.1.2 (Updated 7-7-2022!)



In Tasha's Cauldron of Everything, each new Sorcerous origin is given two spell schools which it specializes in and list of spells gained on level-up; this handout applies the same rules to previous Sorcerous origins to help them fight against power creep. There are no homebrew spells or abilities on this list, and all spells are available in published 5th addition source material, up to Monsters of the Multiverse.



Draconic Bloodline - Enhances Draconic Ancestry

The protective and destructive power of Draconic magic is infused within you. You gain access to innate spells symbolic of your Draconic connection; each Dragonic type bestows a different set of spells, but they all are most strongly attuned to the Evocation and Abjuration schools of magic. Upon level-up, you may replace any spell on this list with a Abjuration or Evocation spell from the Wizard, Warlock, or Sorcerer spell list.

Wild Magic Sorcerer - Enhances Wild Magic

Wild Magic sorcerers are "fortunate" souls who are tied to a discordant and chaotic form of magic that is difficult to control. The prismatic, sometimes Dunemantic nature of their magic confuses and bewilders those who witness it, and the unpredictable nature of their spells brings a wicked chaos to any battlefield. Wild Magic sorcerers have a unique connection to Transmutation and Illusion magic; upon level-up, they may replace a spell on this list with an Transmutation or Illusion spell from the Warlock, Wizard, or Sorcerer spell list.

Divine Soul - Enhances Divine Magic

Divine Soul Sorcerers have a strong connection to the powerful magics of the divine, including the ability to see in places where one is not, and to control the bridge between life and death. The alignment of the deity denotes a variety of spells, but Divine magic channeled through this sorcerer is closest tied to Divination and Necromancy spell schools. Upon level-up, you may replace a spell on this list with a spell from the Divination or Necromancy spell school, so long as that spell is on the Cleric or Sorcerer spell list only. Divine Soul Sorcerers may still choose new spells from a Cleric or Sorcerer spell list as normal.

Shadow Sorcerer - Enhances Strength of the Grave

The Shadow Sorcerer has an innate connection to the reflective plane of Shadow, the Shadowfell. In this dark place of wayward souls, all it takes is one with a strong enough will to shape it to one's liking. Shadow sorcerers draw from the negative energies of the Shadowfell to fashion themselves weapons, tools and allies to aid them in the world of light. Shadow Sorcerers have a particular connection to Necromancy and Conjuration spells, upon level-up, you may replace a spell on this list with a Necromancy or Conjuration spell from the Warlock, Wizard, or Sorcerer spell list.

Storm Sorcerer - Enhances Tempestous Magic

A storm sorcerer is an elemental being - their magic is tied to the destructive and unbidden nature of storms. These sorcerers are able to conjure great blasts of stormy energy and even bind the very storms to a form that serves their will. The nature of Storm sorcery begets spells born of Evocation and Conjuration magic. Upon level-up, you may replace a spell on this list with an Evocation or Conjuration spell from the Warlock, Wizard, or Sorcerer spell list.
