"Should passion die down, Should light be extinguished, Will you bring me patience? Will you die with me?"

-The Syzygy of Io and Europa

While attuned to this item, if you deal a critical strike with an attack, you may choose to summon a small fiery whirlwind with a radius of 5 feet after you have rolled for damage, centered on the target of the attack. If the target is Large or larger, you choose a point you can see on its body for the center of the whirlwind.

Roll a number of d6's equal to your proficiency bonus. Every creature within the radius of the whirlwind must make a Dexterity Saving Throw, taking fire damage equal to the roll on a failure, or half as much on a success.

Once this trait has been used, it cannot be used again until after your next long rest.

You may attune to both this item and Runald's Band at the same time and with the same attunement slot. If you do so, they count as a single attuned item, and if you end your attunement with either of them, you also end your attunement with the other.
