Oath of the No Longer Forgotten

The Oath of the No Longer Forgotten is not a mere oath, it's a commitment of purpose, a vow to place your mark on history and to never be forgotten. No matter how you want to leave your mark on history be it for evil or for good.

Though most have a reason for why they are of this Oath, it is because at some point you may have needed help or you weren't their for your family in their time of greatest need.

Tenets of the No Longer Forgotten

The tenets of the Oath of the Forgotten vary by paladin, but all the tenets revolve about being remembered for something.


Leave your Mark. Wherever you go you must leave a mark upon the people for a deed of large effect.


Don't be Held Back. If something begins to hold you back be it mental or physical, you must find some way to fight through it and reach your goal.


Never Hide from the Truth. If you are ever faced with something that may ruin your reputation, you cannot hide it you must address it head on no matter the consequences.

Channel Divinity: Vow of the Unforgettable

You summon holy flames of cleansing fire to envelope your blade for 2 minutes, your blade gains an extra 5 feet of range, and any creature that's hit by the blade in this state takes extra fire damage equal to your paladin level, if the creature is only hit by the extended range then they only take the listed fire damage on a hit.


Channel Divinity: Vow of the Collective Witnesses

You place holy flames on a number of creatures equal to your Charisma modifier that you can see. For 1 minute, creatures that are inflicted by the flame must make a Wisdom saving throw against your paladin spell save DC or be frightened for 2 rounds.

Vow Beyond Death

At 7th level, once a day when you reach 0 hit points or lower, you can choose to succeed on your death saving throws, when you do this you gain temporary hit points equal to half your hit point maximum for 2 minutes.

If these temporary hit points reach 0 then you fall unstable with one failed death saving throw. If you're healed for at least 1 hit point before the temporary hit points reach 0, then you fall unconscious but stable.

Soul of Flaming Perseverance

At 15th level, the flames which you command with your Vow of the Unforgettable become stronger than before, the flames range extends to 15 feet, and you add half your paladin level (rounded down) to the fire damage dealt.

In addition, when a creature inflicted with your Vow of Collective Witnesses dies, it attempts to jump to a new target within 30 feet of the original creature. A creature targeted by this must make a Wisdom saving throw against your paladin spell save DC or take 1d6 fire damage and be frightened for the rest of the duration.

Embers of Passion

At 20th level, you can assume the form of a champion or demi-god. Using your action, you undergo a transformation. For 30 minutes, you gain the following benefits:

  • Holy cleansing flames burn around you in a 30 foot radius centered on you, creatures of your choice within this radius take 2d8 fire damage at the start of your turns. If a creature hits you while in the radius they take 1d8 fire damage.
  • You gain temporary hit points equal to your maximum hit points for the duration.
  • Your Vow of the Unforgettable and Vow of Collective Witnesses can now be used up to 2 times for the duration of your transformation.

Once you use this feature you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.
