Grafari

While many undead have been condemned simply for existing, there are some that see undead as tools rather than abominations. Some druids have been known to infuse undead with a semblance of life, similar to how plants and animals can be granted sentience. Grafari are then set to guard a specific area and see that the dead see proper rest. The grafari follows these orders but are able to call upon those corpses when threatened.

If a druid or ranger passes though a grafari's territory, it doesn't attack them or their party unless attacked first.

Undead Nature. A grafari doesn't require air, food, drink, or sleep

Gravetender. The grafari is aware of the positions of every corpse and undead within 1 mile of it.

Sap of Life. When the grafari dies, its corpse leaves behind 2d4-2 Tiny rocks of blood sap. When consumed as an action, blood sap causes the creature to regain 3d6 + 4 hit points. Druids and rangers always regains the maximum amount.

Whispers of the Ravens. The grafari can't be surprised, and creatures have disadvantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks while within 30 feet of it.

Actions

Multiattack. The grafari makes three slam attacks.

Slam. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, 5 ft. reach, one target. Hit: 12 (2d6 + 5) bludgeoning damage plus 3 (1d6) poison damage.

Immovable Grove (1/Day). The grafari summons 2d6 + 2 zombies to unoccupied spaces of its choice within 30 feet of it. These zombies last for 10 minutes or until destroyed, and are controlled by the grafari that summoned them.
