# Rabaku
Born in arid dunes, the Rabaku are a hardy people that have persevered through nature's greatest wraths. With catlike features, it is no wonder they are often mistaken for Tabaxi. However, they are not so chaotic in nature as their distant cousins. Rabaku live in tribes that follow strict laws that are millennia old, and they rarely see reason to change them. Rabaku society is very tight-knit, and prides itself on its sense of community.

Often though, there are Rabaku that leave their tribe. Some seek treasure to prove self worth. Others seek fame as a means of success. Regardless of motive, they will always be welcomed back into their tribe without any questioning, as Rabaku never hold contempt for those who leave.

### Rabaku Traits
As a Rabaku, you share many traits in common with your brethren.

**Ability Score Increase.** Your Dexterity score increases by 2, and your Wisdom score increases by 1.

**Age.** Rabaku have lifespans slightly shorter than humans.

**Alignment.** Rabaku tend toward lawful alignments, as they hail from tribes that govern themselves justly. They are not often evil, as their innate selfless nature prevents such thoughts from entering their minds.

**Size.** Rabaku are shorter than the average human, but still of similar body proportions. Your size is Medium.

**Speed.** Your base walking speed is 40 feet.

**Darkvision.** You have a cat's keen senses, especially in the dark. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.

**Lick Wounds.** As an action you can lick your wounds. If you are missing any of your hit points, you regain a number of hit points equal to your proficiency bonus + your Wisdom modifier. You can’t use this feature again until you finish a Long Rest.

**Resilient Skin.** You have very tough skin underneath your fur. When you aren't wearing armor, your AC is 12 + your Dexterity modifier. You can use your resilient skin to determine your AC if the armor you wear would leave you with a lower AC. A shield's benefits apply as normal while you use your natural armor.

**Grimalkin.** You have proficiency in the Acrobatics skill. Additionally, you have an extra free object interaction per turn.

**Languages.** You can speak, read, and write Common and one other language of your choice.
