Otherworldy Patron: The Old Hag

Your patron is a powerful hag, or possibly a coven of hags. These foul and powerful creatures live only to lie and torment the denizens of the planes, be it through simple slaughter or malicious curses. many warlocks who forge this pact do so unwillingly, or even unknowingly. By forging a pact with a hag, you are forever marking yourself as an enemy of the commonfolk, who will hunt you down and burn you at the stake for your dark deed.

Expanded Spell List

The Old Hag lets you choose from an expanded list of spells when you learn a warlock spell. The following spells are added to the warlock spell list for you.

Old Hag Expanded Spells
Spell Level Spells
1st cure wounds, inflict wounds
2nd alter self, enchance ability
3rd bestow curse, haste
4th phantasmal killer, polymorph
5th contagion, reincarnate*

*Whenever you cast reincarnate, you may choose to reform the creature as any beast of medium size or smaller.

Vile Elixir

Starting at 1st level, your patron shows you some of their vast experience with foul concoctions. You gain proficiency in alchemists supplies, and you gain a bonus to any check using them equal to your charisma modifier.

Additionally, whenever you finish a short or long rest, you can fill an empty vial with magical energy. Choose one of your warlock spells of 5th level or lower to be stored inside the vial. Whenever a creature drinks from the vial, it is affected by the spell as if you had cast it at the level of your pact magic spell slots. If the spell creates an area of effect, it originates from the creature that drinks the vial. A spell cast in this way does not require concentration. You can magically coerce a creature within 10ft into drinking the vial as an action by making a Charisma (Deception) check against the creatures Wisdom (Insight). On a success, the creature takes the vial and drinks it using it's reaction. The vial retains the spell until you finish a short or long rest.

Petty Maledict

At 6th level, you can channel a small fraction of your dark power into a foe. Whenever you damage a creature with an attack, you can use your reaction to mark it with a foul curse. As a bonus action, you can cause the creature marked by your curse to take psychic damage equal to your charisma modifier, and move it 5ft in any direction of your choice. This mark lasts for 10 minutes or until you use it on a different creature.

Warped Magicks

Also at 6th level, your magic is enchanced by The Hag's trickery. When you cast a warlock spell with a range of touch, it instead has a range of 30ft.

Putrid Soul

Starting at 10th level, your patron grows possesive of you, not wanting others to steal their plaything. You gain advantage on saving throws to resist magical effects.

Foul Reformation

Beginning at 14th level, you can call on your patrons corrupting influence to let out a wave of dark, contorting power. As an action, you can cause any creature within 30ft of you to make a Wisdom saving throw against your Warlock Spell Save DC. If they fail, they are transformed into a creature of CR 1 or lower and are frightened by you for one minute. While frightened this way, a creature must take the Dash action and move away from you by the safest available route on each of its turns, unless there is nowhere to move. A creature affected by this can make a Wisdom saving throw at the end of it's turns, ending the effect on a success. Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.
