Tomotter
Autumn fur, playful attitudes, and a tomato stem all wrapped up into the creature known as a tomotter. A typically uncommon specimen found among the lakes of the Feywild these creatures act as an indicator that fresh water is nearby to travelers.
Curious Nature. The acidic properties of the tomato naturally grown by a tomotter extends to their body as well. As a result many common predators of the Feywild not to see tomotters as prey but as a last resort for food emergencies. This lack of natural predators has fostered a curious and friendly nature within most tomotters, causing them to wander away from their homes at lakes in search of stimulus. It is said that to find tomotters, all you have to do is wait for them to come to you.
Healer's Resource. The tomato that is grown from the stem jetting out of the tomotter's head boasts minor healing properties. This benefit alone has tomotters in high demand for non-magical doctors and medicine-men.
