Ice Cream Genasi
As an ice cream genasi, you have inherited the cool head and friendliness of an ice cream Genie. You tend toward patience and comfort for yourself and those around you. Sometimes, you can be found with a general air of sadness or melancholy that's covered up by your intoxicating sweetness.
Most ice cream genasi have pale, icy blue skin that's cold to the touch. Many ice cream genasi also, tend to give off a sweet scent and have a cool breath as well. Their hair and eye colors can vary widely, typically taking the color or appearance of a particular flavor of ice cream with chocolate brown, vanilla white, strawberry red, and mint chip green with brown specks being the most common.
Ice Cream Genasi Traits
As an ice cream genasi, you have a number of traits that are unique to your subrace.
Ability Score Increase. Your Charisma score increases by 1.
Cold Resistance. You have resistance to cold damage.
Sugar Rush. The sweetness of your ice cream allows you to move with a burst of speed. When you move on your turn in combat, you can choose to double your speed until the end of the turn. Doing so causes your movement speed to be halved on your next turn. Once you use this trait, you can’t use it again until your speed returns to normal.
Scream to the Ice. You know the Ray of Frost cantrip. When you reach 3rd level, you can cast the Snilloc’s Snowball Swarm spell as a 2nd-level spell once with this trait, and you regain the ability to cast it this way when you finish a long rest. Constitution is your spellcasting ability for these spells. When casting either of these spells, the frost/snow you conjure will take the color and form of a flavor of ice cream. If relevant, you can either choose a specific flavor or roll on the table below.

This subrace is loosely based upon the character Basrar from Dimension 20 Fantasy High as well as the newest Dimension 20 season, A Crown of Candy (which was yet to be released when I originally started this subrace). I thought I was super clever when I thought of a half-genie race until I realized thats what a genasi is...whoops. Technically, Basrar is a djinn that was cursed to only grant ice cream wishes, but with the food themed A Crown of Candy on the horizon, I thought having its element be ice cream would be more fun.
