Otherworldly Patron
The Loa
You have not one, but a multitude of Patrons. You have tied yourself to The Loa, the 1,000 Gods of Bahtonum, those most powerful men and women who came before you, other dim spirits of legend, or other benign or malevolent creatures that live in The Between. Your pact with these beings allows you to touch the tenuous lines between life and death, and freedom and fate.
Being connected to such power can cause changes in your behavior and beliefs. You might find yourself driven to find the most disease ridden being in a city or the wilderness and lend them aid. You might feel called to unearth one passed and press them once more into service. The whims of your patron are mercurial, and so your own nature has become.

Bonus Cantrips
At 1st level, you learn the spare the dying and thaumaturgy cantrips. They count as warlock cantrips for you, but they don't count against your number of cantrips known.
Konesans
At 1st level, you have cultivated a konesans (knowledge)—typically regarded as intuition, or the "gift of eyes". This stems from supernatural gifts, affording you the ability to read people and heal them allowing you to diagnose and treat sufferings, which you ascribe to the living, the dead, or the spirit world. You have a pool of d6s that you spend to fuel this reading. The number of dice in the pool equals your Charisma modifier (minimum of 1).
As reaction, you can choose to spend one dice whenever you or an ally make or are subject of an attack roll, an ability check, or a saving throw, after the dice roll but before the outcome is determined. You may choose to add or subtract the result of the die at your discretion.
Your pool regains all expended dice when you finish a short or long rest.
Mounting The Chwal
Starting at 6th level, you may attempt to draw deeper upon the power of The Loa, inviting them to act from within you. This draws the direct attention of one of your patrons, though this attention might be benevolent, malevolent or even ambivalent. Whenever you cast a leveled spell that does healing or damage roll a d12, for the effect The Loa has on your casting.
d12 | Demeanor | Result |
---|---|---|
1 | Angry. | You take 1d4 + Warlock level damage as necrotic. |

12 | Joyous. | You gain 1d4 + your Warlock level healing. |
Favored Disciple
You have become favored amongst the worshipers of The Loa, and mighty in your konesans. Starting at 10th level, whenever you roll initiative, if you have no uses of konesans you gain one.
Additionally when you roll for Mounting The Chwal you may roll a second d12 and choose whichever result you prefer. You also gain resistance to necrotic damage.
Walker of the Valley of Shadow
Beginning at 14th level, The Loa respond directly to your call. As an action, you summon a Loa to dwell inside you lasting for 1 minute, or until you lose your concentration (as if you were concentrating on a spell), providing you and your allies a myriad of boons, which depend on the disposition of the Loa you choose.
Beatific
An aura of vitality extends from you to a range of 30 feet. Up to 10 creatures you choose may benefit from this aura. While in it's range affected creatures are immune to poison and disease, and any poison or disease that is present is cured. Additionally as as a bonus action once per turn you may heal an ally. This healing equals 2d6 + your warlock level.
Evenhanded
An aura of warding extends from you in a range of 15 feet. Up to 10 creatures you choose can be affected by this aura. While in the range of this aura, those you deem enemies can't have advantage and and those you deem allies can't have disadvantage on attack rolls. Additionally as a reaction you may choose to give or take away advantage on a saving throw made by a creature in this aura.
Wrathful
An aura of blight extends from you to a range of 30 feet. Up to 10 creatures you choose can affected by this aura. While in it's range affected creatures must make a Constitution save versus your spell DC or take 2d6 + warlock level in necrotic damage, half damage on a successful save, at the start of their turn. Additionally as a bonus action once per turn you may choose to give one creature the poisoned condition, this condition ends at the end of your next turn.
While in these forms you may also briefly step into The Between. As a bonus action you may teleport between sources of dim light within 100 feet of one another. The second source does not have to be visible.
