Become a Patron!
### Pact of the Sign Your patron bestows upon you the knowledge of an eldritch sigil, an insignia of otherworldly power unique to you. You are proficient with one type of artisan's tools: the tools needed to create your sigil, and gain a matching set of tools. You can use these tools as an arcane focus. If you lose them, you can perform a 1-hour ritual to conjure a new set. The tools turn to ash when you die. As your action while you have your artisan's tools, you can cause your sigil to appear on an object you can see (or part of an object, if it's larger than 5 feet) within 30 feet. If you're within 100 feet of the sigil when you cast a spell, you can have the spell's effects originate from its location, rather than your own. You must be aware of any targets when you cast the spell. A sigil loses its magic 8 hours after it's created, or if someone uses their action to sully it. Until it disappears, the sigil glows faintly in a color of your choice (spot DC equals your spell save DC). You can have a number of active eldritch sigils equal to your proficiency bonus. Finally, you learn the *alarm* spell and can cast it as a ritual. The spell doesn't count against your number of spells known. When you cast it, you do so by inscribing your {glyph} around the spell's target. ### Invocations ##### Arcane Sensor *Prerequisite: pact of the mark feature* You are aware of any creature within 30 feet of your eldritch sigils, and when you become aware of it, you learn its size and type. If you detect a creature this way, you do not need to see it or be within range to target it with a spell, provided you cast it through the sigil. ##### Mark of the Magician *Prerequisite: 5th level, pact of the mark feature* You can cast *glyph of warding* once using a warlock spell slot, and you do not require material components if you have your artisan's tools on you. You can't do so again until you finish a long rest. ##### Ever Watching Eyes *Prerequisite: 9th level, pact of the mark feature* While you have your artisan's tools on you, you can cast *clairvoyance* at will without material components. You must place the conjured sensor within 5 feet of one of your eldritch sigils.
