Draconic Psionics
Additionally at 1st level, You harbor a wellspring of psionic power within yourself, an energy that ebbs and flows as you channel it in various ways. This power is represented by your Psionic Talent die, the starting size of which is a d6.
Draconic Psionic Options: You can use your Psionic Talent die in the following ways:
Breath Weapon: As an action, you can use your well of psionic energy to use your partons breath weapon. Each creature in range must make a Dextarity saving throw against your spell save DC or take damage equal to your Psionic Talent die. The breath weapons damage type and range is determined by the Patrons Ancestry feature.
Gem Cladding: As a reaction, you can clad your body in crystals. When a creature hits you with a weapon attack, you can reduce the damage by your Psionic Talent die.
Draconic Resilience: As an action, you can grant yourself and or your allies resistance to the damage type of your patron as per the Patrons Ancestry feature till the start of your next turn. You roll your Psionic Talent die and the number rolled is how many creatures you can target with this feature
Changing the Die’s Size: If you roll the highest number on your Psionic Talent die, it decreases by one die size after the roll. This represents you burning through your psionic energy. For example, if the die is a d6 and you roll a 6, it becomes a d4. If it’s a d4 and you roll a 4, it becomes unusable until you finish a long rest. Conversely, if you roll a 1 on your Psionic Talent die, it increases by one die size after the roll, up to its starting size. This represents you conserving psionic energy for later use. For example, if you roll a 1 on a d4, the die then becomes a d6.
Whenever you finish a long rest, your Psionic Talent die resets to its starting size. When you reach certain levels in this class, the starting size of your Psionic Talent die increases: at 5th level (d8), 11th level (d10), and 17th level (d12).
Psi Replenishment: As a bonus action, you can calm your mind for a moment and restore your Psionic Talent die to its starting size. You then can’t use Psi Replenishment again until you finish a long rest.
Draconic Empowerment
At 6th level, When you cast a spell you can change the damage type of that spell to be the same as your patrons as per the Patrons Ancestry feature.
Mental Blind Spot
At 10th level, your psionic abilities have given you an insight to the perception of others. You can make the hide action as a bonus action and if you do you can roll your Psionic Talent die and if you roll the maximum amount you become invisible for 1 minute.
Mental Lair
At 14th level, you can mentaly project an enemy into a copy of your patrons lair. As an action you can force a creature to make a Wisdom saving throw against your spell save DC or become metaly trapped within your patrons lair and can repeat this save at the beginning of each of their turns. While within your patrons lair that creature can not see other creature except yourself and you gain the following benefits;
- As a reaction you can attack with illusion dealing psychic damage equal to your Psionic talent die.
- As an action you can force the creature to make a Wisdom saving throw or become Frightened until the end of their next turn.
- When you deal damage of the same type as your patron as per the Patrons Ancestry feature you can deal additional damage equal to your Psionic Talent die.
