### College of Cacophony - v.1 Momma always told you to be loud and proud. That the music of the soul should be shared with everyone, and that the spark of music should be shared with all. Whether you sing songs, bang the drums, blow the bagpipes or cause other ruckus, every sound you make is musical and laced with magic. You are loud and your enemies will hear about it! Bards who join this college believe that music can be created by anyone and that it should be shared as loudly as possible. Those who try to keep the music silent have no respect for their gifts. If someone says you are playing too loud, then you aren't playing loud enough since you can still hear them. #### Bonus Proficiencies *3rd-level College of Cacophony feature*
When you join the College of Cacophony at 3rd level, you gain proficiency with three additional loud musical instruments like the vuvuzela, bagpipes, drums, tuba, and others. #### Head-Banger *3rd-level College of Cacophony feature*
Also at 3rd level, when you cast a Bard spell that deals damage, and you are using your musical instrument as a focus, you can expend a use of your Bardic Inspiration and turn the spell's damage type into thunder. You can then roll your Bardic Inspiration die and deal additional damage equal to the number rolled on the die to all creatures targeted by the spell. #### Turn it up to Eleven *6th-level College of Cacophony feature*
At 6th level, your music is loud enough to deafen your enemies and drown out their words. When you use your Countercharm feature, all creatures of your choice within 30 feet must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or become deafened and can not create any sound while within range. Casting a spell that requires a verbal component is impossible while within range of your thunderous music. If they succeed on their saving throw, they are not deafened and can speak as normal. A deafened creature can repeat the saving throw at the start of their next turn, if they are within range of your Countercharm, they have disadvantage on the saving throw. #### Bring the Piano *14th-level College of Cacophony feature*
At 14th level, whenever you perform your Song of Rest, not only does your party regain hit points, but you also get them pumped to carry on. Expend one use of your Bardic Inspiration and you can then target a number of creatures equal to your Charisma modifier that you can see, on the creature's next successful attack roll they can roll your Bardic Inspiration die and include it in the attack's damage as their strike makes a loud thunderous beat. They lose this benefit if they don't make an attack before their next short or long rest.
