Radiant Ancestry
Long gone healers of an ancient age, radiant dragonborn have since resurfaced in the corners of the known world. Commonly mistook for red dragonborn, they are thought to be an interesting result of albinism working towards their genetic favor. Gifted with the ability to heal those who come in contact with their mist, they are coveted as beautiful blessings from the gods themselves.
Radiant Dragonborn Traits
Your radiant heritage manifests in a variety of traits, faintly sharing semblance to your dragonborn kin.
Ability Score Increase. Your Constitution score increases by 2, and your Wisdom score increases by 1.
Age. Radiant dragonborn age slightly slower than regular dragonborn. They have been known to live for up to 100 years.
Alignment. Radiant dragonborn tend towards good. They believe in the power of generosity, kindness, and acceptance of all beings.
Size. Radiant dragonborn are smaller and lighter than common dragonborn. They average in the 5 to 6 foot range, and weigh roughly 190 pounds. Their size is Medium.
Speed. Your base walking speed is 35 feet.
Benevolent Mist. When you use your breath weapon you can instead choose to exhale a pinkish mist that restores life to those it touches. You roll half the regular damage dice (rounded up) for your breath weapon, and creatures of your choice within your mist regain hit points equal to the total dice value + your Constitution modifier. After you use your breath weapon like this, you must have a long rest before using your breath weapon again.
Damage Resistance. You have resistance to the damage type associated with your draconic ancestry.
