Megalodon
Ancient beasts believed to be long extinct, the megalodon is a fierce predator found in deep open water. A monstrosity with seemingly unending rows of teeth controlled by thick sinewy muscles. The megalodon is a beast that few would ever want to confirm still lives, if they live themselves...
Inevitable Maw The megalodon attempts to grapple and then consume any creature it is grappling. In combat this can be achieved with a Bite attack action, and with a Surging Scales legendary action. Either action results with the megalodon grappling the targeted creature in its mouth. If the megalodon is grappling a creature, it cannot use the bite to target a creature other than the grappled creature. Any grappled creature can then be consumed with a Inevitable Maw legendary action.

The targeted creature makes a DC 15 dexterity saving throw to avoid it, taking 50 (10d10) slashing damage on a failed save, or half as much on a successful save. Creatures who fail the save against this are grappled by the megalodon, DC 14 to escape.
Legendary Actions
Megalodon can take two legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one action can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature's turn. The megalodon regains spent legendary actions at the start of their turn.
Detect. The megalodon makes a Wisdom (Perception) check.
Surging Scales. The megalodon charges up to 30 feet if it has the movement. Creature and objects in its path can make a DC 15 Dexterity save, taking 9 (2d8) slashing damage on a failed save, or half as much on a successful save.
Inevitable Maw. The megalodon attempts to consume a Large or smaller creature it is grappling. The target can make a DC 17 Strength save to prevent being consumed. On a fail, the target is consumed, taking 20 (3d8+7) slashing damage and is now blinded and restrained while within the megalodon. If the megalodon takes 20 damage or more damage from a creature inside it, the megalodon regurgitates the consumed creatures.
