Biology and Appearance
Pantorans are near human with the main biological distinction of having blue skin, oftentimes the Pantorans were confused for the other blue-skinned near humans, the chiss, but they were no more related to the chiss than to any other near-human species.
Society and Culture
Pantorans semi-recently transitioned from a feudal state to a full democracy. The Pantorans considered the politics of thier assembly and art form and greatly cherished it's design. They are proud members of the galactic senate, teaching pro-republic lessons in school well into the age of the empire. With much debate as to how the pantorans should deal with the empire as a whole.
Names
Pantoran Names are diverse; occasionally first names will have two parts. Either way the names tend to be punchy and hard syllables rather than long and melodic
Male Names. Chi, Toro, Kosh, Notluwiski, Ion
Female Names. Riyo, Chi Eekway, Che Amanwe
Surnames. Cho, Choko, Chuchi, Rhayme, Irana, Kurp, Papanoida.
Pantoran Traits
As a Pantoran, you have the following special traits.
Ability Score Increase. Your Charisma score increases by 2, and your Wisdom score increases by 1.
Age. Pantorans reach adulthood in their late teens and live less than a century.
Alignment. Pantorans' Love of the political system causes them to tend toward the lawful side, though there are exceptions.
Size. Pantorans typically stand 5 to 6 feet tall and generally weigh about 120 lbs. Regardless of your position in that range, your size is Medium.
Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet.
Natural Diplomats Pantorans are natural diplomats, as such they are knowledgeable about other cultures and how to interact with them. You gain proficiency in persuasion and lore. Additionally, you have advantage when you make a Charisma (Persuasion) roll to create compromise between 2 creatures.
Climate Adaptation You are naturally adapted to cold climates, as described in chapter 5 of the Dungeon Master's Guide.
Efficient Use of Space you society values one's ability to not waste space and as such you are good at making good use of the space provided. Your carry capacity is doubled, and if you are in charge of packing a ship you can increase the carry capacity by one-fourth the base cargo capacity.
Languages. You can speak, read, and write Galactic Basic, and pantoran. Pantoran has many regional dialects that can make discussion between pantorans difficult.
