Lightning Lance

Weapon (lance), rare (requires attunement)

The preferred weapon of the Grell, this magical lance is approximately 8 ft. in length and does not have the customary vamplate since the Grell tentacles used an adhesive like substance to grip the weapon.

When you hit with an attack using the lance, the target takes and addition 1d6 lightning damage. In addition, while you are attuned to the lance you have resistance to lightning damage.

Greater Lightning Lance

Weapon (lance), very rare (requires attunement)

A more powerful version of the lightning lance, these weapons are created by powerful Grell Philosophers who have gained the ability to harness the power of electrical currents.

You gain +1 to all attack and damage rolls when using this weapon. In addition, while attuned to the lance, you have resistance to lightning damage. The lance has 10 charges for the following properties. The lance regains 1d4+1 expended charges daily at dawn. If you expend the last charge, roll a d20. On a 1, the lance retains its +1 bouns to attack and damage rolls, but loses all other properties. On a 20, the lance regains all expended charges.

Static Shield As an action you can expend 1 charge to surround yourself with an protective electrical field. Your AC is increased by 1.

Lightning Strike On a successful hit, you can expend 3 charges deal an additional 5d6 lightning damage to the target.

Hinder On a successful hit, you can expend 5 charges to hinder your target. The target must succeed on a DC 15 Constitution saving throw or become paralyzed until the end of their next turn. If the target succeeds, they are stunned till the end of their next turn.
