At 1st level, your connection to shadows empowers your spellcasting. Whenever you cast a warlock spell , you can choose a space covered in dim light or darkness that you can see within 60 feet, the spell is cast as though you were located in that space.

When you cast a damage dealing spell using a warlock spell slot from an area in dim light or darkness it deals an additional 1d6 necrotic damage.

Arise Shadow

Starting at 6st level, you can bind the soul of a dead creature into servitude, as an action you target the corpse of a Large or smaller creature that had a CR no higher than your level divided by 3. That creature rises as a Shadow Soldier, which acts on your initiative and follows your telepathic orders.

  • You can use this feature once, and must finish a long rest before you can do so again. You can only control one shadow, if you create a new one, the previous shadow vanishes.

The dark magic from your Patron grants you lost necromantic powers, any undead you create is formed out of Shadows, a black mist, or dark flames.

Master of Shadows

Beginning at 10th level, you become accostumed to your necromantic powers, granting you more control over them.

  • You can now Control a number of shadows equal to your Charisma Modifier (minimum of 1, maximum of 5).

  • Additionally you gain the ability to step from one shadow into another. When you are in dim light or darkness, as a bonus action, you can teleport up to 60 feet to an unoccupied space you can see that is also in dim light or darkness.
