Oath of Perseverance
The Oath of Perseverance dedicates a paladin to a noble pursuit no matter the odds. Sometimes refered to as guardians, white knights, and even fool knights. These paladins are dedicated to fighting the incessant evils in the world, and are the embodiment of hope for those that are already ravaged by it. Although their success may be unattainable, they do not falter in their goal to push evil back and out of this world. Often wearing symbols to denote this unending quest such as circles, loops, and rings. Most who swear this oath are devoted to gods of good.
Tenets of Perseverance
The tenets of the Oath of Perseverance vary slightly by what caused the paladin to first swear them. They generally value good above all else. The following tenets are present in almost all oaths.
Undying Determination. I am a beacon of hope. If I should fall, hope will as well. I will struggle to prevent this no matter the opposition.
Fight Adversity. Failure to meet challenges head on is the downfall of hope. In order to keep hope alive, I will not back down.
Lead the Charge. I will lead the charge, and show others the way.

Channel Divinity
When you take this oath at 3rd level you gain the folowing two Channel Divinity options.
Push Through. You can use your Channel Divinity to push through challenges. As a reaction, you or a creature within 30 feet of you may reroll a failed saving throw or ability check. Additionally, the target rolls a d4 and add the number rolled to the result. They must use the new roll.
Defy Death. You can use your Channel Divinity to fight from the brink of death. You can forgo rolling for a death saving throw, taking a 20 as the result.
Aura of Perseverance
Starting at 7th level, your will stand against adversity spreads to those around you. When you and any friendly creatures within 10 feet of you make an ability check, they may roll a d4 and add it to the result.
At 18th level, the range of this aura increases to 30 feet.
Fortify Resolve
Beginning at 15th level, your ability with Lay on Hands grows such that you may react to the aggression of others. You may use Lay on Hands as a reaction when you or a creature within 5 feet of you would take damage. When used in this way, you expend 5 hit points from your pool of healing to grant resistance to the triggering damage until the end of the turn.
Avatar of Perseverance
At 20th level, as an action you can assume the form of an avatar of perseverance. You may dictate the form you take. Flightless wings, halo, etc. For the next minute, you gain the following benefits:
- You and up to 5 friendly creatures within 30 feet of you are under the effects of Death Ward for the duration.
- Once per turn, if your Attack misses a target within range, you can turn the miss into a hit.
- Whenever you make an ability check that lets you add your Proficiency Bonus, you can treat a d20 roll of 9 or lower as a 10.
Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.
