Order of the Profane Soul: Tuska

The following is a Dungeons & Dragons 5th edition homebrew subclass for the Blood Hunter, based on concepts from RuneScape. The original concept and images are property of Jagex, Ltd.

Otherworldly Patron

Your patron, Tuska, is a boar-like goddess often described as a mindless beast that somehow managed to attain great power. Despite her status as a powerful deity, she retained her animalistic instincts. Merciless and brutish, she has spent millennia traveling the universe and wreaking havoc and destruction upon various worlds with her incredible strength and storm-like magic. She remains mostly indifferent to the select few who call her their patron, granting some power to them, but holding them in no higher regard than her adversaries.

Rite Focus

Begining at 3rd level, your weapon becomes a core to your pact with your chosen dark patron. While you have an active rite, you can use your weapon as a spellcasting focus (found in chapter 5 of the Player’s Handbook) for your spells. Your chosen pact also enhances your rite.

Tuska

Whenever you deal damage with Rite of the Storm or Rite of the Roar, you gain temporary hit points equal to half the rite damage you rolled, rounded up.

Revealed Arcana

At 7th level, your dark patron grants you the rare use of a dangerous arcane spell based on your pact.

Tuska

You can cast enhance ability once using a profane soul spell slot. You can’t do so again until you finish a long rest.

Unsealed Arcana

At 15th level, your dark patron grants you the rare use of an additional arcane spell based on your pact.

Tuska

You can cast lightning bolt once without using a profane soul spell slot. You can’t do so again until you finish a long rest.
