Ceiling Walker. Gravity for the demon is always reversed. It walks normally upside down on ceilings. The demon can't take damage from falling.

Incorporeal Movement. The demon can move through other creatures and objects as if they were difficult terrain. It takes 5 (1d10) force damage if it ends its turn inside an object.

Actions

Multiattack. The demon makes two attacks with its shortsword.

Shortsword. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d6 + 3) slashing damage.

Snatch. The demon jumps up to 20 feet down and makes a grapple attack against a creature within 5 feet of it during the jump. If the demon succeeds, the creature is lifted to the ceiling by the demon and is restrained while grappled in this way.

Omoluzu (Ceiling Demon)

The omoluzu, also known as ceiling or roof demons, are human-shaped, shadowy demons that are often used as assassins and hunters.

Death from Above. Ceiling demons, as the name implies, do not walk on the ground or even crawl on walls, but stand, walk, and run upside down on ceilings. Since these creatures fall upwards towards the heavens, they're never found outside where there is open sky. They're typically found inside buildings or underground. They can also climb down walls as normal creatures would climb up them, creating a frighting sight for any mortals that lay eyes on these demons.

Born from Blood. These demons are frequently summoned as assassins that seek out particular individuals and drag them into the Abyss. A ritual for summoning these demons involves splashing the target's blood onto the ceiling, from which their shadowy forms will rise out of, often in packs. Although their primary target is the individual whose blood they were drawn from, they do not hesitate to cut down anyone who gets in their way. Once they've killed their target, they drag its body back through the ceiling with them into the Abyss, leaving no trace.

Relentless Stalkers. An omoluzu cannot return to the Abyss until it has slain the victim whose blood was used to summon it. Anytime the target isn't under open sky, the demons will crawl out from the darkness following the scent of the victim's blood. As a result, people that escape these monsters are often forced to wander homeless under the open sky for the rest of their lives, terrified to enter buildings or enclosed spaces.
