Breath of the Unforgiven
A blade once belonging to an agile swordsman trained to wield the air itself against his enemies. As a young man, pride led him down a path of loss, costing him his position, his mentor, and ultimately his own brother. Disgraced by false accusations and now hunted as little more than a criminal, He wandered his homeland seeking redemption for his past, with only the wind to guide his blade.
This weapon is a +3 katana(longsword) with finesse.
Way of the Wandering Wind
Whenever you hit a creature or hit by a creature and for every 10ft of movement, you gain Flow, up to 10 Flow. When you have 10 Flow, you have +10ft of movement.
If you're hit by melee, ranged, or spell attack, you can expend all Flow to gain resistance to all damage except psychic damage and gain temporary hit points to the damage you've taken until the end of your next turn.
Your attacks with this weapon score a critical hit on a roll of 18-20.
Steel Tempest
-
Steel Flash. As a bonus action, you make an attack by thrusting your sword, doing piercing damage that ignores resistance.
-
Steel Wind Rising. As a bonus action for a second time, you make the same thrusting attack that hits a 10ft line and gain a Storm Counter that lasts 1 minute. You can only have one Storm Counter at a time.
-
Gathering Storm. As an action or bonus action, you can spend the Storm Counter to send a slicing whirlwind from you to a 30ft line that deals 3d10 slashing damage ignoring resistance and knocks them into the air. Creatures caught in the area must make a DC18 DEX saving throw or be knocked prone and take 1d6 bludgeoning damage, halved on success and they land on their feet.
*All steps have to be done on consecutive turns except the 3rd step.
You can use this feature three times per short rest. If the Storm Counter isn't spent after 1 minute, it's considered a use of the feature.
Face The Wind!
As a reaction, you swing your blade to create a wall of wind that functions like the Wind Wall spell with no concentration, stretches 20ft wide line in front of you, and projectile spells or elemental attacks, such as Dragons' Breath Weapons or Lightning Bolt, is reduced to half when they go through the wall.
You can use this feature twice per long rest.
Sweeping Blade
As an action, you can move within 5ft of the creature you attacked with your action and make one attack with this weapon. If another creature is withing 5ft of you after you moved, you can move within 5ft of that creature and make a weapon attack on them. Performing this action with multiple creatures counts as one use of the feature.
As a bonus action, you can use Steel Tempest after you move within 5ft of a creature, if you do, you hit all creatures within 5ft of you with one attack and progress a step.
If you spend a Storm Counter, you can use Gathering Storm to all creatures within 5ft of you and ends the use of Sweeping Blade.
You can use this feature three times per long rest.
Last Breath
As a full-round action, you do an all-around sword swipe to create a whirlwind shockwave to every creature you choose with 30ft of you. Then you leap up and do an all-around flurry of sword swings as if you're creating a wild storm.
All creatures caught in range must make a DC20 DEX saving throw or be knocked into the air. Creatures that failed the save take 4d10 force damage that ignores resistances and immunities are considered resistances, creatures that succeeded takes half damage. Then those in the air fall prone and take 1d6 bludgeoning damage, those that made the save land on their feet.
If an action was used for Gathering Storm, you can use Last Breath as a bonus action to target only one of the creatures you choose in the air and leap within 5ft of that creature and deal 6d10 force damage instead.
You instantly gain 10 Flow and progress a step on Steel Tempest after using this feature.
You can't use this feature again until you finish a long rest.
