Half-orcs of Eberron

Your half-orc character has certain traits deriving from your mixed orc and human ancestry.

Ability Score Increase. Your Strength score increases by 2, and two other ability scores of your choice increase by 1.

Age. Half-orcs mature a little faster than humans, reaching adulthood around age 14. They age noticeably faster and rarely live longer than 75 years.

Alignment. Half-orcs of the Shadow Marches see themselves as the literal proof that orc and human are one and they work hard to bridge the gap between the races in other lands and among the tribes. Because of this, they tend toward good alignments. Half-orcs raised among the more savage orc tribes tend more toward neutrality, or even evil.

Size. Half-orcs are somewhat larger and bulkier than humans, and they range From 5 to well over 6 feet tall. Your size is Medium.

Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet.

Darkvision. Thanks to your orc blood, you have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.

Jhorgun’taal Athleticism. You bask in the strength that your mixed heritage has bestowed upon you and take to physical activity with ease. You gain proficiency in the Athletics skill.

Orcish Ancestry. When reduced to 0 hit points, and not killed outright, you may use your reaction to make a melee attack with advantage before falling unconscious. You can’t use this feature again until you finish a long rest.

Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common, Goblin, and Orc.

Orcs of Eberron

Your orc character has certain traits in common with all orcs.

Ability Score Increase. Your Strength score increases by 2, and your Constitution score increases by 1.

Age. Orcs mature faster than humans, standing fully grown and developed at around age 12. Their lives are significantly shorter than a human’s, however, with those living past 50 years being a rarity.

Alignment. Orcs tend to be passionate, with little regard for extensive rules and obligations, and tend toward chaotic alignments.

Size. Orcs usually stand over 6 feet tall and are typically much more muscular than a human of the same height, weighing between 230 and 280 pounds. Your size is Medium.

Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet.

Darkvision. You have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of grey.

Conviction. As a bonus action, you can move up to your speed toward an enemy of your choice that you can see or hear. You must end this move closer to the enemy than you started.

Relentless Endurance. When you are reduced to 0 hit points but not killed outright, you can drop to 1 hit point instead. You can't use this feature again until you finish a long rest.

Savage Attacks. When you score a critical hit with a melee weapon attack, you can roll the weapon's damage dice one additional time and add it to the extra damage of the critical hit.

Survivor. Orcs can thrive in the harshest of environments. You gain proficiency with the Survival skill.
