\pagebreak # Angelkin ### Angelkin traits All angelkin share these Basic traits: *****ability Score Increase.***** your Charisma score increases by 1 ***Age.*** While Angelkin physically grow at the same rate as Humans, they mature faster than humans, reaching mental adulthood around 16. They grow much older than humans, with an average lifespan of 180 years ***Size.*** Most Angelkin are larger than humans, with the smallest among them standing around 7 feet tall, while the largest can more than 8 feet. Your size is Medium. ***Speed.*** Your base walking speed is 30 feet ***Darkvision.*** You've inherited your parent's supererior vision, Allowing you to see in darkness with ease. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray. ***Subrace.*** Two Subraces of Angelkin exist: Radiant Angel-kin and Manaweaver Angel-kin #### Radiant Angel-kin One of your parents was a celestial angel, with majestic feathered wings ***Ability score increase.*** Your Wisdom and charisma scores each increase by 1 ***Alignment.*** Radiant Angel-kin often are good, and most of them tend towards lawful. ***wings.*** You inherited the majestic feathered wings of your Angel parent, which allow you to fly. as long as you aren't wearing heavy armor, you gain a flying speed of equal to your walking speed. This speed is halved if you're wearing medium armor. ***Celestial Resistance.*** You have resistance to Radiant and Necrotic damage. ***Divine Heritage.*** You know the *Thaumaturgy* cantrip. Starting at 3rd level, you can cast the *Cure Wounds* spell with this trait. Starting at 5th level, you can also cast the *Branding Smite* spell with this trait. Once you cast Lesser Restoration or Branding Smite with this trait, you can't cast that spell with it again until you finish a long rest. You can also cast either of those spells using any spell slots you have of the appropriate level. ***Wingspan.*** Your wings, while not as large as true angels, are big and can get in the way, especially when moving or fighting in small spaces. When determining rules for squeezing, you count as one size larger. ***Divine Ascension.*** Starting at third level, as a bonus action, you can tap into the radiant power within to empower the abilities you gain from your heritage. choose an amount of the following benefits equal to half your proficiency bonus, rounded down. You gain those benefits for one minute. Once you use this ability, you can't do so again until you finish a long rest * **Wings:** You gain a flying speed equal to twice your walking speed. If you are wearing heavy armor, your flying speed is halved * **Celestial resistance:** If you would take Radiant or Necrotic damage, you can use your reaction to instead gain that many temporary hit points * **Divine Heritage:** You can cast both Cure Wounds and Branding smite once without expending a spell slot. If you are at least level seven, You can also cast the *Spirit Guardians* Spell once this way. In addition, rolls for damage and healing made for these spells gain a bonus equal to your proficiency bonus #### Manaweaver Angel-kin One of your parents was one of the *Ancient Angels*: Mysterious beings of unknown origin. You inherited their a silvery-gray skin, and ability to manipulate the weave as you see fit ***ability score increase.*** Your intelligence score increases by 2 ***Alignment*** Most Manaweaver angels follow the strict rules of the weave. Manaweaver Angel-kin tend to be Lawful. ***Spectral wings.*** you can summon spectral arcane wings that appear at your back that allow you to float. your jump distance is tripled, and when falling you can choose to only fall 60 feet per round. if you do, you can use 1 foot of your movement to fly for every 1 foot you fall. ***Arcane Resistance.*** You have resistance to force damage. ***Reweave.*** You can use the residual magic of a cast spell to protect yourself. When a creature within 30 feet of you casts a spell, you can use your reaction to gain an amount of temporary hit points equal the spell's level plus your proficiency bonus. You can use this reaction a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest ***Magical Senses.*** Your heritage allows you to see the magic that binds the universe together. you can see magical effects as if you are under the effects of *Detect Magic* ***Arcane Ascension.*** Starting at third level, as a bonus action, you can tap into the weave to empower the abilities you gain from your heritage. choose an amount of the following benefits equal to half your proficiency bonus, rounded down. You gain those benefits for one minute. Once you use this ability, you can't do so again until you finish a long rest * **Spectral Wings:** You gain a flying speed equal to your walking speed * **Arcane Resistance:** You have resistance to damage from spells * **Reweave:** When you activate your Arcane Ascension and As a bonus action on each of your turns while it's active, you can attempt to use other's spells for yourself. Choose one spell affecting a creature within 15 feet of you, and make an intelligence check, with the DC equal to 10 + that spells level. On a success, that spell stops affecting the original target, and instead affects you for the remaining duration. For this duration, you must concentrate on keeping the spell on you
