Way of the BlackFlame
The Way of the Black Flame is a path of overwhelming destructive power, monks that follow this path leave behind tranquility and instead tap into anger, infusing their ki with Fire and Destruction, turning it red and black. Those that practice the Way of the Black Flame burn their soul and body alike in order to bring down those they oppose.
Dragons Breath
Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you learn to emulate the breath of dragons. By pouring ki into your hands, you may fire beams of black and red flames at your enemies.
You gain a new attack option that you can use with the Attack action. This special attack is a ranged spell attack with a range of 30 feet. You are proficient with it, and you add your Dexterity modifier to its attack and damage rolls. It does 1d4 Fire damage, and 1d4 Necrotic damage. These dice change as you gain monk levels, as shown in the Martial Arts column of the Monk table.
When you take the Attack action on your turn and use this special attack as part of it, you can spend 1 ki point to make the special attack twice as a bonus action.
When you gain the Extra Attack feature, this special attack can be used for any of the attacks you make as part of the Attack action.
Burning Cloak
Beginning at 6th level you gain the ability to ignite your ki, consuming it in order to improve your physical prowess. As an action you may spend two ki points to ignite your Burning Cloak causing an aura of black and red flames to form around you. While your Burning Cloak is active you gain the following benefits: Your speed increases by 15 feet, you can jump twice the normal distance, and you have advantage on attack rolls as well as Strength and Dexterity saving throws. At the end of your turn you may spend one ki point to maintain the Burning Cloak, if you do not your Burning Cloak ends.
Void Dragon's Dance
At eleventh level you gain the ability to ignite the Fire and Destruction Aura latent in the world around you. As an action you can spend five ki points to cast fireball as a third level spell without providing material components. When you cast fireball this way, half of the damage rounded down becomes Necrotic. You are immune to effects of a fireball cast using this ability. At 17th level you may instead cast it as a fifth level spell.
Also, You gain resistance to Fire damage as long as you have one or more ki points.
Black Dragon's Mastery
At 17th level you have truly mastered the Way of the Black Flame. Your speed is increased by 10 feet and you may choose to increase your Wisdom, Constitution, Strength, or Dexterity score by two, to a maximum of twenty two. Also, once a day when you activate the Burning Cloak you may forgo the need to spend ki to maintain the Burning Cloak, instead it lasts for up to an hour and can be ended at any time as a free action.
Also, you gain immunity to Fire damage as long as you have one or more ki points.
