# YETI Some of the most willing and courageous adventures may find themselves becoming acquainted with the monstrous, and yet rare, Yeti. Although, by exception, a Yeti may prove themselves to be an exceptional ally especially in the frozen north and high mountainous terrain. ## Lonely Winter Wanderer When entering their early adolescence, a young Yeti is forced away from it's parents. It uses what skills and abilities it was taught and engages in the greatest fight of it's life; survival. During this time it masters the art of endurance and self-reliance. For one reason or another, a Yeti never lives in one place for very long. The Yeti is always on the move. Their long white fur protects their hulking frames from the most frigid of elements. The Yeti is so elusive other Yetis are completely unaware of their own surviving kin or the numbers of their race. For this reason, once a Yeti finds a mate they stay together till death do they part. ## Recluse of the Mountains The coldest and harshest terrain of the northern mountains provide a home for the solitary and elusive Yeti. Hikers and adventurers alike all have terrifying tales of their Yeti encounters in the deep, remote, frozen forests and secluded mountain ranges. Often recognized by their deep howl that echoes through the night chilling all those who hear it. It is said they inhabit the frozen wastelands to protect their independence, while others say it is out fear of being called a monster. ## Misunderstood Giant Unlike the horrific beast many have encountered in the frozen mountains, some Yetis have chosen to appeal to their more civilized side. In doing so, they have left their primal barbaric nature behind in search of a greater, more rewarding, existence. ## Yeti Names Yeti's take great pride in their names.
