## Warlock Patron: The Vilemaw (Ver. 5) The Vilemaw is ever hungry, consuming what ever she can. Also at level 1, you gain the ability to summon a spider companion, you cast a ritual for 10 minutes in order to bring it from a different plane to yours and you can't do so again until you finish a long rest. This spider will follow your orders to the best of it's abilities. If you take a long rest whilst the spider is still alive, it will return to it's plane. When rolling for the Spider's Hit Points, add your Charisma Modifier to the total rather than its Constitution Modifier. In combat, they roll their own initiative. If they are not given a command, they will defend themselves by taking the dodge action. No action is required to give a command. At level 5, you may summon a Swarm of Spiders instead. Also at this level you can summon up to 2 different spiders of your choice before needing a long rest. At level 9, you may summon a Great Spider. (Stat block is below). At level 14, you may summon up to 3 spiders of your choice. #### Cocoon At level 6, you gain the ability to wrap your prey into cocoons. You can attempt to cover a creature in a thick webbing. As an action, you can make a ranged spell attack up to 60 feet. On a hit, the creature is now in a cocoon from your webbing and is restrained. The creature can attempt to break out by making a Strength check against your Spell Save DC. The webbing can also be attacked and destroyed (AC is 10 + Charisma Modifier; hp equal to player level; immunity to bludgeoning, poison, and psychic damage). Any damage that occurs to the web, apart from damage from the restrained creature, also occurs to the restrained creature but halved. Unlike the *Web* spell, these webs are not vulnerable to fire damage. You can do this a number of times equal to your Cha Modifier and regain all charges after a short rest.
#### Volatile Spiderlings At level 10, your summoned spiders can explode on command. Your summoned spiders gain a new ability, Volatility. As an action on the Spider's turn, a Spider can explode and all creatures within 5 feet of the Spider must make a Dexterity Saving Throw. On a failure the creature takes 2d4 acid damage, on a success they take half damage instead. A Swarm of Spiders deals 4d4 acid damage. A Great Spider deals 3d6 acid damage in a 10 foot radius. ___ #### Spider Monarch At level 14, you are able to take the form of a Spider Monarch. You can do this twice before needing a long rest. Whilst in this form you cannot cast any spells apart from spells and cantrips which do not require any material components. You may still use your subclass abilities whilst in this form. You keep your Int, Wis and Cha scores and modifiers. Whilst in Spider Monarch form, you become proficient in Dex Saving Throws. You can speak telepathically to any willing creature in any language you know. When you are knocked down to 0 HP, you revert back to your original form and any extra damage left over carries over.
\pagebreak ___ ### Eldritch Invocations #### Gifts To The Great *Prerequisite: The Vilemaw (Warlock Patron), Pact Of The Tome* You may perform a 10 minute ritual using a the body of a living creature, as a offering to the Vilemaw to summon a Spider. This does not go against the number of spiders you can summon. To summon a Spider, you must offer a creature sized between Tiny and Medium, Swarm of Spiders offering must be between Small and Medium and a Great Spider's offering must be Medium. You cannot do this again until you have had a long rest. #### Neurotoxin *Prerequisite: Pact Of The Chain* When your familiar uses the Help action, the creature who is being helped deals an additional 1d8 poison damage on a hit. #### Webbed Blade *Prerequisite: Pact Of The Blade* On your turn when you attack a creature with your Pact weapon, you may attempt to slow the creature. On a hit, the creature makes a Dexterity Saving Throw, on a fail the creature speed is reduced by half. You can only do this twice until you finish a short rest. #### Rappel *Prerequisite: The Vilemaw (Warlock Patron), 5th Level* As a reaction, when you have to make a Dexterity Saving Throw, you can attempt to use a web shot to a point in order to avoid danger. Instead of taking full damage on a failed save, you take half instead, and on a success you take no damage. Once the outcome has been determined, you may descend/ move to any unoccupied spot within 20ft of where you are. If the poison damage reduces the target to 0 hit points, the target is stable but poisoned for 1 hour, even after regaining hit points, it is paralyzed while poisoned in this way. \pagebreak
