Creature of Myth
There exists a creature of lore, said to be so powerful that they can raze entire towns, hoard kingdoms worth of gold. Living for millenia, they grow in power as they become more wise, their hoards increasing and many adventurers falling to their flamey breath. This is not them, but they sure do try.
Imitation of Greatness
A Slime Dragon is created when slimes consume the corpse of a Dragon. This typically happens after Adventurers have slain the creature to claim it's hoard. Overcome with such might, the slimes unconsciously seek to imitate it, using the bones to suppport them and the muscle to teach them how to move. The Slime Dragon isn't very intelligent, because it's a slime, but it does it's best to imitate it's fallen idol, collecting a hoard, fending off natural predators of dragons, and slaying would-be adventurers.
Splitting Behemoths
As Slime Dragons grow, they seek food to feed themselves. Often would-be adventurers arrive to claim a fabled Dragons Hoard, only to be consumed by the Slime Dragon. Eventually it gains enough nutrients to reproduce, causing the Slime Dragon to produce a Slime Dragon Wyrmling from itself, which promptly leaves to find it's own home away from it's parent.
Slime Spawn
One of the most dangerous aspects of a Slime Dragon is it's ability to produce other slimes as it fights. Being an amalgamation of all manner of slimes, any variety of slime can be spawned from it, and these slimes act in the interest of the original body.

Ooze Dragon. The Slime Dragon takes up most of it's space. Creature's can enter it's space, but they are subjected to the Slime Dragon's Engulf feature. Medium or larger creatures make the save with disadvantage.
Creatures inside the cube can be seen but have total cover.
A creature within 5 feet of the cube can take an action to pull a creature or object out of the cube. Doing so requires a successful DC 15 Strength check, and the creature making the attempt takes 14 (4d6) acid damage.
The cube can hold only two Large creature or up to six Medium or smaller creatures inside it at a time.Corrosive Form. A creature that touches the Slime Dragon or hits it with a melee attack while within 5 feet of it takes 17(2d10 + 6) acid damage. Any nonmagical weapon made of metal or wood that hits the Slime Dragon corrodes. After dealing damage, the weapon takes a permanent and cumulative -1 penalty to damage rolls. If its penalty drops to -5, the weapon is destroyed. Nonmagical ammunition made of metal or wood that hits the Slime Dragon is destroyed after dealing damage. The Slime Dragon can eat through 2-inch-thick, nonmagical wood or metal in 1 round. Engulfed creatures are not dealt damage from Corrosive Form
Actions
Multiattack. The Slime Dragon makes 3 attacks; 2 with it's claws and one with it's bite.
Slime Claw. Melee: +12 to hit, 15 feet, one target. Hit 8 (1d10 + 5) slashing damage, and 8 (1d10 + 3) acid damage.
Spread. The Slime Dragon spreads itself. When it does so, it's height is decreased to 5 feet and it's size increases to gargantuan. Creatures in it's space are not subjected to it's Engulf feature, instead they take 13 (3d6 + 3) acid damage when they start their turn in it's space or the first time they enter the Slime Dragon's space on their turn. The Slime Dragon's space is considered difficult terrain while spread.
While Spread, the Slime Dragon can only Engulf one medium creature or two small creatures on it's turn. The Slime Dragon can only use it's action to engulf a creature in it's space. It's movement speed is reduced by 15 feet while spread. Using it's action, the Slime Dragon can reform itself, returning to normal, and freeing any creatures it has engulfed while spread.Bite. Melee: +10 to hit, 10 feet, one target. Hit 8 (1d10 + 5) bludgeoning damage and the target is subjected to the Slime Dragon's Engulf feature.
Engulf. The Slime Dragon moves up to its speed. While doing so, it can enter Large or smaller creatures' spaces. Whenever the Slime Dragon enters a creature's space, the creature must make a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw.
On a successful save, the creature can choose to be pushed 5 feet back or to the side of the cube. A creature that chooses not to be pushed suffers the consequences of a failed saving throw.
On a failed save, the Slime Dragon enters the creature's space, and the creature takes 10 (3d6) acid damage and is engulfed. The engulfed creature can't breathe, is restrained, and takes 21 (6d6) acid damage at the start of each of the Slime Dragon's turns. When the Slime Dragon moves, the engulfed creature moves with it. An engulfed creature can try to escape by taking an action to make a DC 12 Strength check. On a success, the creature escapes and enters a space of its choice within 5 feet of the Slime Dragon.Legendary Actions
The Slime Dragon can take 2 Legendary Actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action can be used at a time, and only at the end of another creature's turn. The Slime Dragon regains 1 Legendary Action at the start of i'ts turn.
