Pea Shooters

At some point in the past, the realm was overrun with undead. The hordes were too great to meet head on, and the risk of infection or death was so great that the general populace was forced to find other means of defending their homes, their towns, and their land.

Thetrue origins of the pea shooters, or indeed any of the flora that was created to defend their homesteads is lost, but rumours have it that an enterprising wizard or druid though to use the plants to fight back.

Awakening these plants to some lesser extent, they stood sentinel outside the walls, using their newfound awareness and the best of their ability to defend themselves and subsequently the inhabitants of the lands around which they were placed.

The most common of these plant defenders were theh pea shooters. They came in a variety of shapes, sizes, and effectiveness. From the humble pea shooter, that slowly barrages its enemies with peas, to the rapid-fire gattling pea which furiously barrages its enemies with volleys of peas, they made up a selection of the arsenal of previously mundane plants that helped repel and ultimately defeat the hordes of living dead.
