The priestess of Pelor is a throwback to the more fundamental aspects of Pelor's worship, with a greater focus on his core aspects and not on the more martial attitude of his new age followers. Priestess' of Pelor are a common sight, functioning at attendants in many, if not all, churches of Pelor, and offering healing or blessings in exchange for tithes for the church. At times of war, the priestess' do not serve as front line fighters, but they will still be found on the battlefield, using their supportive magic to bolster their troops and acting as medics for the wounded, or performing last rites for the dying and the dead.
