Bard Colleges
The way of a bard is gregarious. Bards seek each other out to swap songs and stories, boast of their accomplishments, and share their knowledge. Bards form loose associations, which they call colleges, to facilitate their gatherings and preserve their traditions.
College of Advertising
Bards of the college of advertising use unspeakable charm, wit, and sassiness to coax potential customers into buying their products. This college is spoken of with great fear. They are the fabled snake oil salesmen and women of the realm.
Bonus Cantrips
When you join the College of Advertising at 3rd level, you learn 2 cantrips: Guidance and Word of Radiance. These cantrips don't count against your number of cantrips known.
Tongue of Silver
Additionally at 3rd level, whenever you attempt to barter with a creature to buy or sell something, you may expend a use of Bardic Inspiration to gain advantage on the necessary roll.
Co-Branding
Whenever you reach 6th level, you are able to work together with an ally to better support each other. While taking a long rest choose one of your allies, while within 60 feet of each other you both are under the effects of the Guidance cantrip.
Knowing All The Tricks In The Book
Additionally at 6th level, you gain resistance to psychic damage, are immune to being charmed, and other creatures cannot read your thoughts.
Spreading The Word
Starting at 14th level, you can once per long rest as an action you expend a use of Bardic Inspiration to plant an idea or thought into the minds of every creature within 1 mile of you. You can choose for these creatures to know whether it was you who planted this thought or idea into their heads.
