Way of Ferocity

The natural way of the world and how creatures of all kinds flow along its path is the life that monks who follow Balinor, God of Hunt. Living in the wilderness, they connect with nature differently than a druid may. Instead of connecting and living in harmony with nature, the monk finds the primal urges within themselves, and harnesses it to have their body become nature incarnate. These monks find themselves usually wandering the forests or wild places of the world to embody the natural spirit of the animals around them. By focusing their ki on that connection to nature, they are able to unleash a flurry of primal strikes against their foes.

Beast Within

When choosing this monastic tradition at 3rd level, you have connected to an inner primal energy with your ki that you can manifest at will. Whenever you use your Flurry of Blows, you may spend additional 1 Ki point to replace both unarmed strikes with a whirlwind of attacks that lashes out against all creatures that you choose within 5 feet of you. Make an unarmed strike against each creature you choose within your reach.

In addition, your unarmed strikes can now deal slashing damage instead of bludgeoning damage, as your fingernails elongate to form spiritual claws.

Lunging Strike

At 6th level, you can harness the predatory nature you have witnessed in the wild to strike at distant foes. When you make an unarmed strike as part of the Attack action, you may spend 1 ki point to change it to a Lunging Strike.

You can use Lunging Strikes amount of times, equal to your Wisdom modifier until you finish a short or a long rest

Lunging Strike

Choose a creature that you can see within 15 feet. You jump to an unoccupied space next to your target, making an unarmed strike against that creature.

Embodiment of Hunt

At 11th level, you have connected your inner nature to that of the outside world. Moving through non-magical difficult terrain costs you no extra movement. While lightly obscured in a natural environment, you have advantage on Stealth (Dexterity) checks.

In addition, you can spend 4 Ki points to double proficiency with Survival Checks for an hour for tracking or hunting creatures. If you are not proficient with it, you will receive proficiency for that period. You can't use this feature again until you finish a long rest.

Primal Retaliation

At 17th level, you are able to quickly react to incoming attacks. As your reaction once per turn, you can do one of the following traits when a creature targets you using a melee or ranged attacks:

Retaliatory Lunge

If the creature is within 30 feet, you can make a Lunging Strike against it. The range of Lunging Strike is increased to 30 feet, and doesn't count against maximum number of Lunging Strikes you can make per short rest.

Ferocious Retaliation

If the creature is within melee range, you can make Furry of blows against that creature. If you are not using Beast Within whirlwind attack feature, you can make 4 attacks instead of 2, by spending 1 additional Ki Point.
