Buneary and Lopunny Test

Buneary

(Normal Type)

Buneary took a large breath of air and dove into the river. He quickly swam to the bottom and clawed at the ground for something to hold on to. All he could get were handfuls of silt, until he finally grabbed a small plant strong enough to hold him down to the bottom. With his eyes closed tight, he focused on slowing down his heart. He could hear his foes' murky yells from above, looking for him. He had to stay under as long as he could; there was no way he would be able to beat them in a fight.

Hearing

Your ears can pick up even the smallest of sounds. You can hear any noise within a 20 foot radius and tell where the noise came from.

Ears

Rather than using their arms, Buneary prefer to use their ears to hold and attack with. They have also been known to use their ears to jump by hitting the ground and throwing themselves up into the air.

Built-in Blanket

When Buneary are cold, they will tuck their heads into their fur to warm up their nose. Whenever they sense something nearby, their ears will perk up as they try to figure out out where the noise is coming from. Buneary's ears will often reflect how they are feeling.

Social

Buneary prefer to live in small groups away from cities, in warm areas. The more removed from large cities they are, the happier they are. However, they do not like living alone. They are extremely sensitive to nature, and any area that is polluted or toxic makes them sick.

Buneary picked up her quarterstaff and pushed herself onto her feet. They needed to get moving, the time for sleep was over. She bumped Nosepass with her staff, causing him to stir.*

"Come on," she whispered, "It's time to get moving. The rest is over." Nosepass started to lazily gather things together. They hadn't been able to get a full sleep, but they were almost to their destination. Staying put any longer would be more dangerous than walking the last few miles. Once they got to the city, they could relax.

Lopunny

(Normal Type)

Lopunny stumbled into the town, barely able to walk. He was hurt and in incredible pain, but right now he had more important things to worry about. He and his friends tried to take a shortcut through the woods to the next city, but had been ambushed by thieves. They tried to defend themselves, but only barely escaped with their lives intact.. He was the only one with enough strength to walk, so here he was, in search of someone, anyone, that could help him and his friends, before it was too late.

Ears

Lopunny are very protective of their ears. If anyone touches them, even by accident, they will be kicked. Lopunny spend a large chunk of their time grooming their ears, making sure nothing is caught in their fur. When they are frightened they often find comfort in hiding behind their ears.

Hop

Whenever Lopunny run they tend to have a spring in their step propelling them forward. They shed their fur twice a year, during which they will try to hide themselves from others, ashamed of their baldness. However, once their fur grows back they’ll often sell their fallen fur to various merchants and craftsmen.

Cleanliness

Lopunny will refuse to enter any place that is crowded or dirty. Because of this they tend to live in small towns or on their own. However, from time to time you may spot one working at a tavern or as a merchant.

Type Weakness

Lopunny gently pulled a comb through her fur. Her shift as night watch was nearly over, but she needed to get all the knots out of her fur before she could wake the next Pokemon up, and finally get some rest. As she reached the last few strokes she heard something move behind her. She quickly turned around, coming face to face with a giant Arcanine. How did this guy get this close to her without her noticing? She looked directly into his eyes, and with a sheepish smile she quietly said, “I don’t suppose you’re part of the royal guard are you?"
