# The Quills on the Parchment of Reality ## Behind the Quills *Sometimes, in the absence of ink, blood is one's last resort. The name of the murderer, a secret that needed to be told... many things are to be told with the crimson ink inside one's veins.* *That's why, when one returns to life, their blood becomes thick and black, as regret gifts one enough power to become a **Quill**, that is how Ink Sorcerers and their offsprings are known.* ## Ink Sorcerous Origin

### Living Quill *"My finger is a quill, and the world my parchment."*
At 1st level, you learn the **Fresh Paint** cantrip.
It counts as a sorcerer cantrip for you, but it doesn't count against your number of cantrips known. ### Author of Reality *"They always told me I live in my own world... care to join?"*
At 1st level, you can magically turn drawings or illusions into reality.
You can use your action to spend *Sorcery Points* to target an illusion or something you painted with the **Fresh Paint** cantrip, affecting up to 5 ft. cube per *Sorcery Point* spent.
When you do so, the painting, the object or terrain feature depicted becomes a real, nonmagical object.
Thus, painting a door on a wall creates an actual door that can be opened to whatever is beyond. Painting a pit on a floor creates a real pit, and its depth counts against the total area calculated from spent *Sorcery Points*.
Nothing created by this feature can have a value greater than 1.5 times the amount of *Sorcery Points* spent in gold pieces.
If you paint an object of greater value (such as a diamond or a pile of gold), the object looks authentic, but close inspection reveals it is made from solified ink that is worthless.
If you paint a form of energy such as fire or lightning, the energy appears but dissipates as soon as you complete the painting, doing no harm to anything.
Anything created with this feature disappears, melting into black ink, after a minute. \columnbreak ### Incantamenti Post Scriptum *"I do think that the pen is mightier than the sword."*
At 6th level, when you cast a spell that deals damage, you can spend 1 *Sorcery Point* to deal **Acid** or **Poison** damage instead of the one described on the spell, as the cause of the damage is now made out of thick black ink.
In addition, spells you cast ignore resistance to **Acid** and **Poison** damage.
At 18th level, spells you cast also treat **Acid** and **Poison** damage immunities as resistances. ### Reader's Block *"If I am an open book to you, you better not read the horrible fate you will meet."*
Starting at 14th level, when you are hit by a melee attack, you can use your reaction to deal **Acid** or **Poison** damage to the attacker, and ignores resistance to that damage.
The damage equals your sorcerer level.
The attacker must also make a Constitution saving throw against your sorcerer spell save DC.
On a failed save, the attacker is *Poisoned* until the start of your next turn.

At 18th level, your ability to turn things to reality expands to the point it breaks the circle of life and death, creating living beings made out of thick, black ink.
As an action, you can spend *Sorcery Points* equal to double the level of the spell you want to cast, chosen among these:
**Conjure Animals**, **Conjure Celestial**, **Conjure Elemental**, **Conjure Fey**, **Conjure Woodland Beings**, **Create Undead**.
The spell has a casting time of an action, requires no material component and requires no concentration.
If the conjured or created creatures had resistances or immunities, they lose them, obtaining the following:
"***Damage Resistances:** Bludgeoning, Piercing, And Slashing From Nonmagical Weapons*.
***Damage Immunities:** Poison and Acid.*"
Independently from the chosen spell, the creatures conjured or created by spells casted via this feature disappear, melting into black ink, after an hour.
Once you use this feature, you gain the ability to use it again after a long rest.

You create a magical paint that runs from your fingertips or fills a small container. You can use this paint in any way you could use ordinary paint, though it only remains tangible for one hour. For each additional minute you spend coating a surface in this paint, the paint remains on that surface for twice as long as before. You can create any color of paint you choose each time you cast the spell.
