College of Tomes

Bards practice in all types of entertainment. Some read poems and play some music. These bards seek a higher calling in the form of books. These bards weave magic into what they write and their stories. Those who take on this college can influence people long after their death and become legends just as the stories they wrote.

Totamic Knowledge

Upon choosing this college at 3rd level, you gain the power of written tomes. These tomes of power are a secret only those who take this college can utilize. The tome is a book similar to a spell book listing your known tomes. If this book is ever lost you can spend a short rest to remake it. Your tome book cannot be used by anyone other than you. At 3rd level choose Three tomes, you learn two more at 6th level, and three more at 14th level.

Tome of The Scholar: You can use your tome to enchant your allies. As a bonus action, Once per Short rest you can give an ally advantage on spell saving throws until the end of your next turn.

Tome of Healing: The tome of healing is for those who have been injured. As an action you can use your tome to heal a creature you choose, you can expend a use of your bardic inspiration to cast cure wounds or lesser restoration.

Tome of The Warrior: You can use your tome to bolster your allies. As a bonus action, Once per Short rest you can give an ally resistance to bludgeoning, piercing or slashing, until the end of your next turn.

Tome of Protection: Your tome allows you to protect your allies, in reaction to to an ally, within 5ft of you, taking damage you can cast the shield spell, once per short rest.

Tome of Pain: Your tome can hurt those who challenge you. You can use your bardic inspiration to cast inflict wounds.

Tome of Sight: The magic from your tome allows you to see. You gain 60ft of darkvision.

Tome of Magic: The magic in your tome grows more powerful. You learn Two Cantrips from the wizard spell list.

Tome of Speed: Your tome allows you to speed up an ally, you can spend a use of bardic insperatrion to allow an ally within 10ft if you take the dash action without provoking opportunity of attack.

Tome of Curses: This tome is tome not well known outside if witches and other wicked beings. As an action you can cast the hex spell once per short rest.

Tome of Dragons: This is one of the oldest known tomes. As an action you can cast the Dragons Breath spell. You regain this on a short rest.

Aura of the tome

The magic in your tome bends and twists the power of your magic. While you have your tome you gain an aura that extends 10ft in all directions centered on you. When, up to three creatures, you chose enters the aura they have disadvantages on spell saves made by you.

Write of passage

Your tomes allow you to help your teammates in dire times. Once per long rest you can expand the use of your bardic inspiration to give a creature you choose health equal to your bard level plus you bardic inspiration dice. The creature you chose also get an advantage against spell attacks for the next minute.
