Oni Bloodline

As slaves of capricious Oni lords, your ancestors were forced to yield to their masters’ hedonistic desires, inevitably tainting their descendants with Oni blood. Now, you wield the powers of the Oni thanks to your vile heritage.

Unnatural Regeneration

At 1st level your Oni heritage has imbued you with some of their healing capabilities, when under threat your body actively regenerates and heals your wounds. While in combat, at the start of your turn, regain hit points equal to half your sorcerer level, rounded down (minimum of 1). You do not regain these hit points if you are unconscious or incapacitated.

Claws of the Oni

At 1st level, you gain a natural weapon from your Oni ancestors. As an action, you can attack using elongated Oni claws that sprout from your hand. Make a melee weapon attack and add your proficiency bonus and charisma modifier to the roll. If it hits, it deals 1d6 + your charisma modifier slashing damage. These claws can be hidden when not in use. At 10th level these claws count as magical for the sake of overcoming resistances.

Shapechanger

At 6th level, you've become able to harness some of the natural shape changing power of the Oni. You can cast Alter Self a number of times per day equal to your charisma modifier without using a spell slot, with the enhanced ability that you can change your size between small, medium, and large. At 14th level you no longer have a limit on the number of times it can be cast a day, and its duration becomes indefinite.

Resourceful Monster

At 14th level, you've gained the Onis' magical abilities to flee should the need arise. Once per short or long rest, you can use your reaction to cast one of 3 spells. You may cast Darkness, Invisibility or Gaseous Form without the use of any material components or a spell slot. All of these abilities can only be used on yourself. These spells all still require concentration.

Oni

At 18th level, as an action, your power bursts forth in a shock wave as you become more like your Oni ancestors temporarily. You take on the full appearance of a monstrous Oni, and every enemy within a 60 foot radius of you of must make a strength save against your spell save DC or be knocked prone. As a bonus action on subsequent turns you can release more, smaller shock waves with a radius of 30 feet that have the same effect. This transformation lasts for 1 minute or until you lose concentration on it.
