Pact of the Coven
Your patron instructs you to associate with other followers of theirs, thus entering a coven. As a sign that you are a member of the coven, you are given a trinket that can function as your arcane focus. If this trinket is lost or destroyed, you may reform it by performing a one hour ritual during a short or long rest. When you gain this feature, you become proficient in two skills of your choice. You also gain one of the following benefits:
- Proficiency in two types of tool, or
- Proficiency in one type of tool and the ability to speak, read and write an additional language, or
- The ability to speak, read and write two additional languages.
Furthermore, you have advantage on all Charisma (Persuasion) and Charisma(Intimidation) rolls against people that recognize your trinket as a sign of membership of the coven, and your lifestyle expenses are halved anywhere it would be recognized in the same manner.
Eldritch Invocations
The following section presents new invocations for the warlock. These invocations follow the same rules as invocations found in the Player’s Handbook.
Aura of Endurance
Prerequisite: 5th level, Pact of the Coven feature
While you have your pact trinket on you and are unarmored, your AC equals 10 + your Dexterity modifier + your Charisma modifier.
Ceremony of Understanding
Prerequisite: 15th level, Pact of the Coven feature
Veteran members of a coven gain their patron's favor and guidance with ease. You can cast commune once without expending a spell slot or material components. Once you use this invocation, you can't use it again until you
finish a short or long rest.
Eldritch Trample
Prerequisite: 5th level, Pact of the Coven feature, eldritch blast cantrip
You can channel the strength of the coven to power your casting. While you are in the same plane of existence as at least two other members of your coven, once on each of your turns when you hit a creature with your eldritch blast you can knock the target prone.
Fellowship of the Servants
Prerequisite: Pact of the Coven feature
You can use your action to form a spiritual link with other members of your coven to gain their aid in combat. While you are in the same plane of existence as at least two other members of your coven, you gain a +5 bonus to AC, and if you attack your first attack roll is made with advantage, until the end of your next turn. Once you use this invocation, you can't use it again until you finish a short or long rest.
Gift of Resourcefulness
Prerequisite: 7th level, Pact of the Coven feature
The coven provides you with anything you need. While you are in the same plane of existence as at least two other members of your coven, you can spend a minute visualizing with your mind a mundane item of value equal to or less than five times your warlock level gp. At the end of the minute, the object appears in a free space adjacent to you, and disappears after a long rest. Once you use this invocation, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.
Harbinger of Destiny
Prerequisite: 9th level, Pact of the Coven feature
Members of a coven can call upon their patron for a sign regarding the likelihood that their actions will succeed. You can cast augury at will without expending a spell slot or material components.
Heightened Senses
Prerequisite: Pact of the Coven feature While you are in the same plane of existence as at least two other members of your coven, you can add your proficiency bonus to all your Wisdom (Perception) and Intelligence (Investigation) skills.
Profound Lore
Prerequisite: Pact of the Coven feature
As a member of a coven, you gain access to the knowledge of other members. Select a cantrip from any class's spell list. You can cast this cantrip at will. It doesn't count against your number of cantrips known.
Resilient Mind
Prerequisite: Pact of the Coven feature
The coven shields your mind from adverse effects. While you are in the same plane of existence as at least two other members of your coven, you have advantage on all saving throws against being charmed and against illusions.
Shield of Devotion
Prerequisite: 12th level, Pact of the Coven feature
The coven keeps you out of harm's way. While you
are in the same plane of existence as at least two
other members of your coven, and you fail a saving throw, you can choose to succeed instead. Once you use this invocation,
you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.
Tongue of the Traveller
Prerequisite: 5th level, Pact of the
Coven feature
You can tap into the collective knowledge of the
coven to understand any language. You can cast tongues on yourself once using a warlock spell slot. You can’t do so again until you finish a long rest.
Unerring Prosecution
Prerequisite: 7th level, Pact of the Coven feature
Nobody is out of reach of the coven. You can cast locate person once using a warlock spell slot. You can’t do so again until you finish a long rest.
Veil of Secrecy
Prerequisites: 9th level, Pact of the Coven feature
The coven shrouds you from prying eyes. While you are in the same plane of existence as at least two other members of your coven, you can use your action to turn invisible until the start of your next turn. This feature
cannot be used two turns in a row.
Voice of the Worshipper
Prerequisite: 5th level, Pact of the Coven feature
The coven is everywhere, either directly or through its allies. You can cast sending once using a warlock spell slot. You can’t do so again until you finish a long rest.
Watchful Gaze
Prerequisite: Pact of the Coven feature
The coven guards you from peril. You can cast alarm at will without expending a spell slot or material components.
