#### Blackstone Hexdagger *Weapon (Dagger) , Rare (Requires Attunement)* ___ You gain +2 to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. This additional damage is necrotic. Additionally, damage dealt using the *sneak attack* feature is necrotic damage. A cruel looking dagger made of a black stone and etched with inactive runes upon it's hilt and blade. The stone of the blade does not appear overly sharp, but cuts with ease. Off-putting to look at, there is no question this blade was once used to perform a dark ritual of some kind. While attuned to this weapon, if seen in edges of vision or only briskly, this weapon appears coated in fresh deep crimson blood. Attempting to store this weapon will cause the sheath or container to soak through with blood. As a bonus action, you may activate the magic inside of the dagger. The etched runes will begin dimly glowing a iridescent purple. Within 1 minute, the next creature hit with an attack from this dagger will be under the effects of a *Hex* spell cast at 1st level, not requiring concentration. When a creature is hexed in this manner, the wielder has advantage on attack rolls against the target. The dagger can't be used in this way again until the next dawn. ___ **Cursed:** This weapon is cursed. When the magic is activated, rolling a natural 1 or 2 during a weapon attack or failing to release the magic into a creature by the end of the magic's duration will cause the dagger's magic to be forced inward against you. If the magic is forced inward or is used on a willing creature, the dagger uses it's daily magical charge and the victim will be cursed. Cursed creatures take an additional 2d6 necrotic damage anytime they are damaged and has disadvantage on all ability rolls. This curse lasts for 24 hours. ___ At the start of a long rest, roll a d6. On a result of 1, you do not benefit from the rest, instead suffering a terrible nightmare involving some sort of terrifying occult event. Attempting to dispose of this dagger while the blade is still cursed will cause it to return at the end of a long rest. The wielder suffers a harrowing nightmare, does not benefit from the long rest and will wake to see the dagger sticking in their chest. It may be removed, and causes no damage. Whoever pulls the dagger out will be cursed as described above. Failing to remove the dagger prevents the user from benefiting from short or long rests. ___ Removing the curse from this weapon in any way, causes it to lose all magical properties and becomes a mundane dagger. ___ **Image Credits**: https://www.turbosquid.com/3d-model/dagger
