## Barbarian Subclass # Soul Reaver Soul Reavers are instruments of death. Engaging in combat with one would almost assuredly mean your demise. Luckily then, they are rare as they are dangerous. Only a few Soul Reavers are born every generation, and most don't make it through the trials. Soul reaving is and ancient and mystical Path, it draws from the very life of it's victims. ### Siphon Starting when you choose this Path at 3rd level, your training allows you to extract life essence from another creature as it's life ends. When a creature within 5 feet of you is reduced to 0 hit points, you gain temporary hit points equal to your Charisma modifier + half your Barbarian level (minimum of 1 temporary hit point). ### Unyielding Rage At 3rd level you are proficient with heavy armor and you are able to rage while wearing heavy armor. ### Even in Death At 6th level you know the spell *speak with dead*. You can use this spell a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier between a short or long rest. ### Anathema Beginning at 10th level, your very presence allows you to turn the mind-affecting magic of your enemies against them. You are immune to being frightened, and when another creature attempts to frighten you, you can use your reaction to attempt to turn the effect back on that creature. The creature must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw against (DC = 8 + your proficiency modifier + your Charisma modifier) or be frightened by you for 1 minute. ### No Escape At 14th level as a bonus action when you hit a creature with a weapon attack, you can reduce their movement to 0 until the start of your next turn.
